I majored in mathematics at university and worked for seven years developing securities systems at Daiwa Institute of Research Ltd. Despite once being so averse to English that I avoided foreigners, I moved to the UK at the age of 30 and began learning English. While working as a Japanese language teacher, I studied language education at a local graduate school and obtained a master’s degree at 33. After returning to Japan, I taught at a Japanese language school, ran a children’s English school, and eventually started my own business as a specialized English coach. Since then, I have consistently had a waiting list based almost entirely on word-of-mouth and repeat clients.

My coaching covers a wide range from absolute beginners to advanced learners and English instructors, including conversational English, business English, and test preparation (TOEIC®, Eiken, IELTS, Versant®, TOEFL®). I also handle university entrance exam English for both private and national universities.

My clients include notable entrepreneurs, executives, artists, English instructors, employees of foreign-affiliated companies, expatriates, doctors, high school and university students, and graduate school applicants.

My TOEIC® coaching is renowned for achieving an increase of 200-300 points in three months for many students.

Since 2021, I have managed a community of approximately 180 English coaches, and since 2022, a community of around 400 English learners. I frequently conduct seminars and courses for training English coaches.

From 2023, I have been cooperating as a dedicated instructor and regularly holding workshops for “English Gym,” an English learning community within the Sony Group comprising about 150 members.
